Applications
- Flexible saddle adds a lateral sewer line at an angle to a sewer main line; flexible elastomeric material enables saddle to securely fit around a range of sewer main pipe diameters
- Flo-Tap™ rigid saddle provides a fast and easy way to add a branch connection to an existing pipeline without the need to shut off water or bolt saddle onto pipe
- Clamp-It™ rigid saddle makes it quick and easy to add a sprinkler or riser to an existing pipeline with its bolt-free patented wedge design
Installation & Maintenance
- To install the flexible saddle: drill hole in pipe wall with a hole saw; place saddle on pipe; tighten clamps around the saddle with torque wrench; position pipe into saddle inlet and tighten the clamp around inlet to secure
- To install the Flo-Tap™ rigid saddle: clamp saddle over pipe and tap in wedge; remove cap and turn internal cutter to cut pipe opening; solvent-weld new line; remove cutter and debris; replace cap to prevent leaking
- To install the Clamp-It™ rigid saddle: drill hole in pipe; place saddle over hole and attach clamping hinge around pipe; apply wedge and secure in place with a tap of a rubber mallet
- If water is leaking out, tighten clamp on flexible saddle to ensure a firm seal. Saddle performance issues can indicate damage; replace as needed

- Onsite flow management protects pipe systems from backflow which can lead to corrosion of pipes, property damage, and issues with the flow system
