Applications

Installation & Maintenance

  • Thread MPT to FPT on one end, twist barbed ends onto swing pipe

  • Periodically check for leaks or damage and repair as needed; recommended operating pressure for most fittings is up to 50 PSI

Materials & Sustainability

  • Fitting is made of polyoxymethylene (POM), also known as acetal, a type of plastic, treated with UV inhibitors to prevent cracking

  • Drip irrigation can reduce water usage by up to 70% compared to conventional sprinkler irrigation when used properly; for most drip irrigation products, water is applied precisely and at the rate the soil can accept it to prevent runoff and erosion
