Control the flow of water and prevent damage to the drip irrigation system with valves. Available for a variety of applications to meet custom needs.
Key Features
Air/vacuum release valve helps prevent damage to the drip system due to water hammer and cavitation; releases trapped air and allows water to flow through; when water escapes, fills void with air to prevent vacuum suctioning of debris into the line
Automatic flush valve keeps the line free of dirt and debris and helps prevent mineral buildup; makes it easy to flush out the line; when water pressure drops, the valve automatically opens to drain the line, closes when done to keep bugs out
Ball valve helps control the water flow; easy to shut off water or allow it to flow through by turning lever that rotates the ball inside to open or close line
Flow control valve delivers two varying water flows to two separate watering circuits, irrigation zones, or plants with different watering needs; turn dial to adjust, balance, or shut off water
Applications
Manage the flow of water in the pipeline with a variety of valves to release trapped air; flush out the line; control water flow; manage water flows to two separate zones
Air/vacuum release valve for subsurface drip systems; other valves for on grade or subsurface installation
As part of a complete drip irrigation system, valves control the flow of water to the area to be irrigated
Installation & Maintenance
Air/vacuum valve: Install upright on a high point in the drip system, on top of pipe riser with 1/2 in. FPT connection point; use on line that runs perpendicular to lateral rows, before and after steep slopes, and on long, horizontal runs; protect with a valve box
With the exception of the air/vacuum valve, valve can be installed between two lengths of pipe or tubing where the flow of water needs to be controlled
Periodically check for leaks or damage and replace or repair as needed; recommended operating pressure is up to 50 PSI
Materials & Sustainability
Flow control valve made of acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) treated with UV inhibitors to prevent cracking
Drip irrigation can reduce water usage by up to 70% compared to conventional sprinkler irrigation when used properly; for most drip irrigation products, water is applied precisely and at the rate the soil can accept it to prevent runoff and erosion
