The engineered check valve design allows for lower opening pressures to enable longer run lengths, which can reduce the amount of installation materials and labor; also prevents low emitter drainage on shut down to minimize water loss.

  • The pressure-compensating dripline delivers a steady, uniform amount of water even if there are changes in pressure, elevation, or length of dripline used
  • Poly tubing is constructed using a layering method for durability: the outer and inner layers are made of 100% virgin content; the middle layer is composed of recycled content 
  • Anti-siphon emitters prevent suction of debris and eliminates need for an air/vacuum relief valve
  • Roll is shrink-wrapped for easy handling and to ensure roll stays together as product is dispensed

Applications

  • Delivers the same amount of water along the entire line even if the pressure changes; line is kept charged and won't drain out at low points; self-cleaning emitters are spaced evenly apart

  • Ideal for watering closely spaced plants, hedges, vegetable gardens, planter boxes, and new plantings of ground cover; its flexibility also works as a watering ring for large pots and containers, and makes loops around large trees

  • As part of a complete drip irrigation system, the dripline delivers water along the entire line, and each of the pressure-compensating emitters distributes water steadily even if the pressure changes

Installation & Maintenance

  • Use tubing adapter to connect to water source

  • Use insert fittings, Smart Loc™ multidiameter fittings, or compression fittings to connect sections of dripline together, make bends, or add a tee intersection

  • Periodically check for leaks or damage and replace or repair as needed; recommended operating pressure is up to 50 PSI; for areas with freezing temperatures, winterize by using an air compressor to evacuate lines with air to remove water

  • Drip irrigation can reduce water usage by up to 70% compared to conventional sprinkler irrigation when used properly; for most drip irrigation products, water is applied precisely and at the rate the soil can accept it to prevent runoff and erosion
