StormChamber® accessories are used as part of installation and maintenance. They include the SedimenTrap™ capture device, non-woven filter fabric, woven stabilization fabric, 10 in. frame and lid, 30 in. X 20 in. and 24 in. X 12 in. corrugated pipe

StormChamber® Accessories

Key Features

  • SedimenTrap™ capture device has a patented filtration system and intercepts debris in stormwater runoff that can potentially harm the local ecology
  • Non-woven filter fabric is used to line the trench walls and bottom, and to wrap around the inflow row of chambers
  • Woven stabilization fabric is used to stabilize the soil base for the entire inflow row of chambers as well as the adjacent overflow unit
  • The 10 in. frame and lid is used to protect the opening of the cleanout riser pipe used in StormChamber® systems
  • The 30 in. X 20 in. corrugated pipe comes connected to the SedimenTrap™ device used with the SC-34 and SC-44 StormChamber® systems
  • The 24 in. X 12 in. corrugated pipe comes connected to the SedimenTrap™ device used with the SC-18 StormChamber® system

Applications

  • The SedimenTrap™ device intercepts sediments that enter the StormChamber® system, and the corrugated pipe enables the SedimenTrap device to be installed deep underground

  • The non-woven fabric prevents sediments from entering the StormChamber® system while allowing water to drain through

  • The woven fabric creates a stable foundation for installation of the inflow row of StormChamber units and adjacent overflow unit

  • As part of a complete stormwater management system, the StormChamber® accessories are used during installation and maintenance to protect the system from debris

  • StormChamber® accessories are installed with the StormChamber units and work deep underground

  • SedimenTrap® device is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE)
  • Non-woven filter fabric is made of high-tenacity polypropylene
  • Woven filter fabric is made of polypropylene
  • 10 in. frame and lid are made of cast iron
  • Corrugated pipe is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE)
  • StormChamber® accessories are made in the USA
