Cleanouts & Plugs

Use cleanouts to access the drain pipe system to clear out clogs. The adapter connects to pipe, and the plug seals the opening. The threaded connection on the plug allows it to unscrew from the opening.

Key Features

  • The cleanout adapter is available for  3, 4,  or 6 in. pipe with 3, 4, or 6 in. FPT opening for plug
  • The cleanout plug is available with 3, 4, or 6 in. MPT connection point to attach to adapter opening
  • The cleanout adapter is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) for a solvent-weld connection
  • The cleanout plug is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC); do not solvent weld to allow removal to access adapter opening
  • Meets applicable ASTM standards

Applications

  • Install cleanouts along several points on the main drainage pipe run to provide multiple access points to clean pipes

  • Maximum working pressure of 5 PSI

  • As part of a complete drainage system, the PVC adapter connects S&D pipe and uses a threaded plug for access to the drain pipe system for cleaning
