The true union ball valve helps convey water through pipe when open and has an easy to turn, two-sided handle to rotate ball which closes valve. Unscrew ends of ball valve to remove valve from pipeline for maintenance. This leak-resistant valve connects two 3 in. Sch. 80 pipes in an irrigation or other pressurized system and prevents the backflow of water. Prevents costly property damage, pipe corrosion, and system issues. Durable ball valve is made of PVC plastic. Valve has a Teflon ball seat, EPDM O-ring, and ABS handle. Use fittings and other valves to set up a new irrigation system, expand an existing system, or make repairs.
