The Worm Drive Hose Clamp with Power Seal is used to connect two pliable (soft) hoses or tubing together in industrial and automotive applications. The hose clamp attaches to the connection point between 2-5/16 – 3-1/4 in. OD pliable hoses or tubing. Tighten the included 5/16 in. 410 Stainless Steel hex screw in the two-piece stainless steel housing to close clamp. Turn the screw to 30-45 in. lbs. torque to secure clamp. Worm drive clamp housing has a heavy duty 4-piece Quadra-Lock design which includes an underside plate for added strength. The clamp band has arcial perforated slots for smoother engagement. Hose clamp exceeds all SAE requirements including standard J1508 Type “F”. Durable worm drive clamp band and housing is made of Series 300 Stainless Steel. Screw is made of 410 Stainless Steel. Use fittings and other valves to set up a new irrigation system, expand an existing system, or make repairs.
