Built with structural reinforcing ribs, the meter box fits over valves, control zone kits, and other irrigation components to provide protection. Durable drop-in cover provides access for maintenance and reader cover allows for easy meter reading. The black box and black cover are built for durability to stand up to the elements, pedestrian traffic, lawn care equipment, and potential vandalism. Convenient slot makes drop-in lid easy to lift with a flathead screwdriver. The meter box is made of polypropylene (PP) using 100% recycled materials; the lid is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) using 100% recycled materials. The reader door is made of cast iron. Both the irrigation meter box and lid are treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking from sun exposure.
