Raise the height of a traditional meter box that sits deeper in the ground with the 13 in. X 20 in. X 6 in. Jumbo Meter Box Extension. Stack extension on top of an existing meter box to extend the height or use it alone to protect valves, control zone kits, and other irrigation systems in shallow installations. The black box is built with reinforcing ribs and stands up to the elements, pedestrian traffic, lawn care equipment, and potential vandalism. The meter box comes with a built-in bolt hole with brass nut; lid (sold separately) can be secured down with a 2-1/2 in. X 3/8 in. bolt (113BB, sold separately). The meter box is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) using 100% recycled materials. The irrigation meter box is treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking from sun exposure.
