NDS 12 in. Round Duracast™ Ductile Iron Grate fits 12 in. Drain Pipes (NDS D12)

The 12 in. Duracast™ in-line Round Grate stands tough against the elements, and protects the pipeline by blocking leaves and debris from getting into drain pipes and clogging up the drainage system. Grate has an open surface area of 55.2 sq. in. and a flow rate of 170 GPM. Ideal for handling heavy water flows on parking lots, driveways, plazas, courtyards, small lawns, and landscaped areas. The 12 in. Round Grate in ductile iron connects to 12 in. sewer and drain pipe and 12 in. single-wall corrugated pipe for a soil-tight fit. Iron grates will rust over time, forming a protective iron-oxide patina that ages from red-orange to a deep, rich brown. NDS grates are lightly painted black to inhibit rust formation for shipping and storage purposes.
